Dear Moores Rowland Members,

As we approach the end of 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been a dynamic and progressive year for Moores Rowland, and to share a brief outlook on what lies ahead in 2026.

The past year has been one of evolution and strategic focus for our network and our member firms. At Moores Rowland, we have continued to strengthen our global positioning, enhance collaboration across regions, and reinforce our commitment to professional excellence and sustainable growth. At the same time, many of you have navigated significant changes within your own firms—driven by rapid technological advancement, the growing impact of AI, and an increasingly complex global business environment. Your adaptability, resilience, and active engagement have been key to our collective success.

Throughout 2025, we remained focused on quality-led growth, ensuring that Moores Rowland continues to attract firms that share our values, standards, and long-term vision. We were pleased to welcome new member firms across different regions, further strengthening our international footprint and sector expertise. While expansion remains important, our priority continues to be building a strong, connected, and collaborative network.

This year also marked continued progress in knowledge sharing and professional development. We delivered a series of technical sessions, webinars, and member-led discussions, which were well attended and highly valuable. I would like to sincerely thank all members who contributed their time, insights, and expertise. Looking ahead to 2026, we are working on enhancing our training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to further support your firms and teams in an evolving professional landscape.

In 2025, we placed strong emphasis on regional engagement through meetings and events designed to foster closer connections, encourage collaboration, and facilitate meaningful networking. The energy and momentum created through these gatherings have been extremely encouraging. We will continue to build on this approach in 2026, alongside plans for larger international engagements that will bring our global community together.

A key strategic milestone this year has been the formation of a new alliance with the Global Referral Network, further strengthening our international reach and cross-border collaboration capabilities. This partnership marks an important step in expanding opportunities for our member firms and enhancing the value we deliver to clients worldwide. In line with this development, we have also begun a rebranding initiative connected to MRGN, which reflects our evolving identity, strategic direction, and commitment to a more integrated global network. Further updates on this rebranding will be shared as we move into the new year.

From a strategic and technical perspective, we are also focused on introducing new tools, resources, and initiatives aimed at supporting member firms in delivering high-quality services efficiently and confidently. More details on these developments will be shared in the coming months.

As we close the year, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all Moores Rowland members for your continued trust, contribution, and commitment to our network. On behalf of the Moores Rowland leadership team, I wish you, your colleagues, and your families a peaceful holiday season and a very Happy New Year.

When Edward Moore established his firm in 1866, and C. H. Nevill founded his in 1875—which later became Rowland Nevill—neither could have imagined that their legacies would endure and evolve into what Moores Rowland represents today. The merger between Edward Moore & Sons and Rowland Nevill marked a pivotal milestone, giving rise to a professional network that has stood the test of time.

As President of this association for over six years, I take immense pride in our legacy. The firm’s simplified family tree, available on both the ICAEW and our official websites, stands as a testament to our long-standing history and the roadmap that has shaped our network’s journey.

Over the past eight years, we faced significant challenges, particularly when some of our member firms merged with another network. Despite these setbacks, the unwavering commitment of our current members to preserve and strengthen our network enabled us not only to endure but also to re-emerge as one of the top global accounting networks, as recognized by leading industry publications.

In an increasingly interconnected world, our presence is more essential than ever. Technological advancements have empowered us to work seamlessly across borders, enabling our firms to offer services both locally and internationally with unprecedented ease and efficiency.

Our mission is to serve our clients by examining their past, analyzing their present, and preparing them for the future. We take pride in being a comprehensive professional services network, managing our clients’ financial and business matters, and guiding their managerial and generational transitions.
